Employment - Staff Accountant
TDXNET LLC, an Alaska Native Corporation, is currently recruiting for the following position:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the President, this position provides general accounting support for all departments at TDXNET. TDXNET is a growing organization offering the right candidate an opportunity to both contribute and expand their experience. The statements below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by this individual assigned to this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and skills required of personnel so classified.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain and preserve a systematic understanding of the fiscal reporting and universal ledger configuration
- Ensure a precise and opportune periodic, quarterly and annual ledger close
- Ensure the timely coverage of all monthly payments, bills and receivables reporting
- Make sure the correct and appropriate dispensation of constructive pay transactions
- Guarantee the monthly and annual Bank conformity actions are mainstreamed for all personnel in a well-timed and truthful manner
- Supports financial statement and forecasting actions
- Ensure the timely processing of all monthly payments, bills and receivable reports
- Perform the monthly general ledger close
- Assist and preparing timely financial reports
- Responsible for managing daily banking needs
- Prepare quarterly payroll tax for both federal & multiple states filing
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements
- Reconcile assigned ledger accounts and bank statements
- This position addresses rigid cut-off dates and a large number of accounting behaviors including universal ledger groundwork, financial treatment, monthly reporting and yearend review, training and the support of financial plan and estimate activities
- Must be able to work effectively with multiple companies and accounting systems
- Must be able to work independently or within a small team as necessary
- Assist and provide support to other TDX subsidiary companies
- Work in partnership with the Holdings Management and other accounting division managers to sustain overall goals and objectives.
- Perform other duties such as clerical duties, typing, filing, forwarding mail, data entry and bookkeeping.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Four year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area
- Two years experience in general accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting concepts
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheets, MAS200 software experience preferred
- Should have a professional appearance, be energetic, and take pride in work
